Who we are

This page is run by Ludus Films, a film studio in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. If you have a question about your details, write to contact@ludus-films.com.

What we collect

When you ask for a free campaign concept, we receive what you type into the form:

• your brand name, Instagram handle or website, and industry
• what you want to promote, if you tell us
• your name, email address and WhatsApp number

We also record the month you applied for, the address of the page you sent the form from, and the time it arrived.

How we use it

We use your details only to write and send your campaign concept and script, and to follow up with you about it by email, WhatsApp or phone. We don't sell your details, and we don't add you to a mailing list.

Who handles it for us

A few services process your details on our behalf so the form works:

• Vercel hosts this website and receives the form.
• Resend delivers the form to our team's inbox by email.
• Our email provider stores the messages in our mailbox.

Some of these services are based outside the UAE, so your details may be processed in other countries. They may only use your details to provide their service to us.

Advertising, analytics and cookies

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. This page uses the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms, to see whether people who clicked our ads went on to ask for a concept. The Pixel can set cookies and send Meta information about your visit, such as the pages you viewed and that you sent the form. It does not send Meta the details you typed into the form. Meta's own policy explains how it uses this information, and you can control ad personalisation in your Facebook or Instagram settings.

We also use Google Analytics, a service from Google, to understand how people find and use this page: for example how many visitors came from an ad, which pages they viewed, and whether they started or sent the form. Google Analytics sets cookies on this site and sends Google information such as the pages you visit, the ad or link that brought you here, your browser and device, and your approximate location (worked out from your IP address). It does not send Google the details you typed into the form. Google's policy explains how it uses this information, and you can opt out with Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

The page also loads its typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. Apart from the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics cookies described above, Ludus Films doesn't set any cookies of its own.

How long we keep it

We keep your details for as long as we're talking with you about a campaign, and for up to 24 months after our last contact. After that we delete them, unless you've become a client and we need them to work together.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you the details we hold about you, correct them, or delete them, or tell us to stop contacting you. Email contact@ludus-films.com and we'll reply within 30 days.

Changes

If we change how we handle your details, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
